WA Opticians Associates was founded by Optometrist Theo Kannis in 1955.
From early beginnings in Manjimup, to the current store in Murray Street Perth, WA Opticians Associates has continued to provide high quality optical services at discounted prices for over 50 years.
WA Opticians Associates progressed beyond Manjimup and opened for business in Royal Arcade Perth in the 1960's. From there we moved to Hay Street as the business grew and then further to Cremorne Arcade. In the 1980's Theo Kannis branched out and opened Budget Specs in Barrack Street Perth. The two stores continued for many years, joining together in the early 1990's to form the current store at 122 Murray Street Perth.
With more than ten staff - 3 of whom have over 30 years of service each - WA Opticians Associates has long been considered a Perth business "icon".
As one of the first optical "discounters", we continue to offer discounts to health fund members, union members, seniors, pensioners and health card holders. |
